CMF Phone 1: Nothing's Cheapest Phone Teaser Revealed, Check Out Images

Recently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nothing (Nothing) brand, Carl Pei, has indicated that the launch of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) model will be delayed until 2025. And now, the company's sub-brand CMF has confirmed its first smartphone launch. It is called CMF Phone 1. The teaser image gave a little glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming device. Let us know, 'CMF Buy Nothing' launched the product targeting the budget range market. The CMF Phone 1 model will also be a budget phone, as its leaked specifications have indicated.

CMF Phone 1 is going to launch soon

In an X (ex-Twitter) post, CMF has revealed that their first smartphone is going to be awesome in terms of design. It is inspired by the invention and design of Nothing. Nothing's sub-brand is making it into a category, which is neglected by other smartphone makers. CMF Phone 1 will serve as an entry point to the company's entire product ecosystem. That means it will be an affordable smartphone.

However, the CMF Phone 1 model does not seem to feature the same design as Nothing's smartphone. The teaser image confirmed that it will also feature a transparent back panel and no glyph interface. Instead, the upcoming device has been spotted with a leather-textured back panel in an orange shade, similar to that found on the sub-brand's devices. There is also a dial on the bottom right of the phone. It's similar to the dial seen on the CMF Neckband Pro model. However, it is not yet clear whether it will be useful in smartphones. The CMF Phone 1, like other devices from the brand, has been confirmed to be available for sale on India's e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Talking about the specifications, the CMF Phone 1 handset will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will house a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera The CMF Phone 1 mobile is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is likely to be priced between $249 (roughly Rs. 20,800) and $279 (roughly Rs. 23,300) and is expected to launch next month.
