Three phones are going to be launched in the Oppo Find series after 2022. Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro this year, and the Find X8 Ultra in the first half of next year. Depending on the variant, there will be a Snapdragon or Dimension processor.
Oppo is currently said to be working on their next flagship Oppo Find X8 series of smartphones. For the past few years, the company has launched two Find X-branded phones in the market every year. But this year, the brand is going to change this trend. A new report claims that the Oppo Find X8 series could include a total of three models with one additional device. Let's get to know about the new model of Find X series.
The Oppo Find X8 series may have three models
Citing reliable tipster Digital Chat Station as a source, MyDrivers claims in their report that the Oppo Find X8 series will include three models, namely the Standard Edition, Pro Edition and Ultra Edition. That is, the lineup may include Oppo Find X8, Oppo Find X8 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
In 2022, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find X5 series consisting of three models. The lineup included the regular Oppo Find X5, Oppo Find X5 Pro Dimension Edition and Oppo Find X5 Pro. Then last year the brand launched only two models, Oppo Find X6 and Find X6. In January this year, the brand unveiled the Oppo Find X7 and the high-end Find X7 Ultra models without any mid-tier models under the series.
However, in the case of the upcoming Oppo Find X8 series, the 'Pro' version may return and enter the market alongside the standard version. Both the models are likely to make their official debut in October this year. On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra Edition may hit the market in the first quarter of next year to compete with other “Ultra” brand flagship phones.
It is already known that the standard Oppo Find X8 phone will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. However, there is no clarity on whether the Pro version will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset or will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Both chips are built on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's (TSMC) 3-nanometer process. Hence, the Oppo Find X8 series will be Oppo's first flagship phone with a 3nm chip. Oppo Find X8 Ultra model is most likely to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.
Notably, Oppo's upcoming Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, recently said that the Oppo Find X8 series will excel in all aspects, including photography, performance, battery capacity, battery life and its slim and lightweight design.
