Vivo is currently gearing up to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 series of foldable phones and the flagship Vivo Pad 3 lineup of tablets. Besides, the brand is also said to be working on Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s. Although the company is yet to open up about the launch, the information shows no sign of stopping the speculation. Now a well-placed source has revealed the timeline for the launch of these Vivo devices. Let’s find out when Vivo’s foldable series, tablet lineup and X100 series premium phones will hit the market.
Vivo’s next-generation foldable tablet is set to hit the market by the end of next month
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) claimed in its Weibo (Chinese micro-blogging site) post that the Vivo X Fold 3 series and Vivo Pad 3 lineup will be unveiled by the end of March. The Vivo X Fold lineup will include two models – Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro. Both the models will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets respectively.
On the other hand, the Vivo Pad 3 lineup could come in two models – Vivo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro. The standard model is expected to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset. And the Pro variant is said to be the first tablet powered by the MediaTek Dimension 9300 chipset. It is said that the iCo Pad 2 tablet to be launched in the Chinese market will be a rebranded version of the Vivo Pad 3 or Pad 3 Pro. Notably, in the comments section of the Weibo post, DCS also mentioned that the Vivo X100S will not be launched in March, instead hinting that the model could debut in the second quarter of this year.
Besides, a source has recently claimed that the Vivo X100 Ultra will hit the market by the end of April. So, it is likely that the Vivo X100s will also be launched along with this phone. Vivo X100s is claimed to be the world’s first MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor powered smartphone. But currently, it is unknown which of these flagship devices will be launched outside of China.
