Buyers will be impressed with the Exynos 2400 processor in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series

South Korea-based tech giant Samsung has used its Exynos chipset in several entry-level to flagship smartphones. However, tech enthusiasts have compared the company’s in-house processor with the Snapdragon chipset developed by rival semiconductor brand Qualcomm. Samsung has faced criticism day in and day out, especially for the disparity in performance between Exynos and Snapdragon-powered devices. However, this time the South Korean brand has bent down to silence the critics. According to reports, Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2400 processor will take on Qualcomm’s latest chipset.

The Samsung Exynos 2400 processor will have 10 CPU cores

According to a latest tweet by renowned tipster RGcloudS, Samsung is currently working on finalizing the configuration and packaging information of the Exynos 2400 chipset. He said, the performance of the upcoming processor will be much better than its predecessor and it will come with significant upgrades. And it will be able to compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The tipster also reported that the next-generation Exynos 2400 processor will have a 10-core CPU or Deca core. However, the tipster confirmed that the ten cores will not work together for any task. In this case, the number of cores used will be optimized based on the performance of various tasks.

Incidentally, this upcoming system-on-a-chip of the Samsung brand will be manufactured following the Fo-WLP packaging method. This approach will help make the chip thinner and more ‘energy efficient’.

Note that tech giant Samsung has already confirmed that the Exynos 2400 processor will be launched with the upcoming Galaxy S24 series. That is, the new chipset may be announced in the first half of 2024. Also, some recent reports claim that the new Samsung SoC could achieve benchmark scores close to Apple’s existing M2 chipset. If this information is true, then the new chip will be able to forget the ‘negative reviews’ earned by the predecessor Exynos processor.
