Recently, several information regarding the main specifications, features and price of this Oppo Reno series phone have been published online. And now a tipster has revealed more details about the upcoming device’s display and camera configuration. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max model is reported to have a triple-rear camera setup. The company may use Samsung’s camera sensor in this handset and it will get an LTPO display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max Specifications (Expected)
In a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, tipster digital chat station revealed the key specifications of the “R15 Series Super Cup” (translated from Chinese) smartphone, which is believed to be the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max. The handset may offer a triple rear camera setup, which will include a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP5 primary camera.
In addition to this, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max device can sport a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto camera. It features a 6.78-inch LTPO flat display with 1.5K resolution. It will also have “very slim” bezels, the tipster noted. It can also feature a metal frame. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max phone may have wireless charging support.
These specifications revealed by DCS are in line with the details shared in a recent report, which mentions that there will be similar display and camera features. The OLED screen of the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max is speculated to offer a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It may have MediaTek Dimension 9400 chipset, 6,500 mAh battery. It is believed to run on Android 16-based ColorOS 16 operating system.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max model has a 50 megapixel front camera on the screen for selfies and video calls. The phone is also said to feature custom Lumo (LUMO) camera technology. Besides, the connectivity options of the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max device will include Wi-Fi 7 and Near Field Communication (NFC). It is said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
When will it be launched?
Please note that Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max will be launched in China later this year. It is then expected to make its India debut in early 2026. It is said that the price of the phone in this country will be kept close to 55,000 rupees.
