Speculations were rife for several weeks that Asus is working on their Zenfone 10 smartphone and it will hit the market very soon. However, the company has not officially announced anything about the device so far. But now finally Asus has officially confirmed the launch date of their much awaited handset. It will be the successor to the Zenfone 9 launched in July last year. Let’s take a look at the launch date of the upcoming Zenfone 10 and what information has surfaced about it so far.
Asus Zenfone 10 launch date announced
Asus has announced on their official Twitter handle that the upcoming Zenfone 10 handset will debut in the global market on June 29. The launch event will be livestreamed on YouTube. Ahead of the launch, the company has now released a microsite of the Zenfone 10, which showcases its key features. The phone will feature the same compact form factor as its predecessor. The Zenfone 10 model will come with a 5.9-inch display with a punch-hole cutout in the upper left corner.
Also, the Zenfone 10 is also reported to have a six-axis gimbal stabilizer for no-shake video shooting. The primary camera may have a 200 megapixel sensor. It is also confirmed to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Asus Zenfone 10 will come with wireless charging support. Apart from these though, the microsite has not revealed any additional details about the Asus Zenfone 10.
Meanwhile, according to recent reports, it is believed to feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come with a maximum of 16 GB of RAM. For power backup, the Zenfone 10 is said to have a 5,000mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging. Rumor has it that the base 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the ASUS Zenfone 10 is expected to hit the market with a price tag of $749 (approx. 61,800).
