Bengaluru EV to-wheeler startup Simple Energy launches new versions of their One Electric Scooter. The company has called AK Jane 1.5 updates and added a change in comparison to the current model. The model has now claimed that the Ideal Range will be released on a full charge. Where before the range was 212 km. The price did not raise the price. It will cost Tk 1.5 lakh (X showroom).
Simple One: Battery, Motor, Range, O Speed
The total battery capacity of the Simple One Electric Scooter is 5 kW Hour, which is divided into two packs – a 1.5 kWh -fixed -fixed unit and the other is portable 1.5 kW Hour Pack. Although mechanically one, the company has been able to increase the range up to 20 km through software and electronic updates and more efficient drivetrain.
Simple One contains 1.5 kW (1.5 BHP) motor, which produces a maximum of 12 Newton meters of torque. This scooter reaches a speed of 1-5 km/ h in 2.5 seconds and is capable of running at a maximum speed of 5 km per hour. Simple One, weighing 5 kg, is currently one of the heavy electric scooters in the country. Again, with the height of the 5mm seat, it is one of the tallest scooters.
Simple One: Features
The new features included in the new update on the electric scooter include the tire pressure monitoring system, the regenerative braking, and USB charging. It will also benefit the app integration, updated ride mode, and park assists. The design of Simple One is attractive and available in multiple color options.
Currently, there is only one small network of 5 dealerships across the country of Simple Energy. However, the company says that by the end of the fiscal year, they have plans to open 5 showrooms and 20 service stations.
