From Tata to Hyundai, all eyes are on these 3 cars to be launched in August

August 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Indian car lovers. Like any other month, the domestic car industry will witness several new model launches in August. Hyundai, Tata and Toyota may launch eye-catching new cars this month. Out of which two are SUVs and one is an MPV. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at model three.

Hyundai Creta / Alcazar Adventure Edition

Hyundai is all set to launch the adventure editions of its Creta and Alcazar. Some changes will be noticed in their design compared to the regular model. The front and rear bumpers, wing mirrors, roof rails and alloy wheels of both the cars are likely to get touches of black. Like the new Exter micro SUV, the new Ranger Khaki color scheme may also be offered on those models. Interiors may feature black-out elements and contrast stitching for upholstery. The special edition will feature the ‘Adventure Edition’ badge. However, there will be no change in the technical aspects of the SUV models.

Punch CNG

Tata may launch their Punch CNG this month. The CNG model of the car was showcased at the Auto Expo this year. Its rival in the market is Hyundai Exter CNG. Tata’s new model has the company’s new dual CNG cylinder technology. As a result, more boot space will be available. CNG powertrain will be available in all its variants. It has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine to provide the power to move forward. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be available. It will produce 77 bhp of power and 97 Nm of torque. The car has an i-CNG badge on the rear door.

Toyota Rumion

Toyota Rumion sold in the South African market is about to enter India this time. It will appear in this country next month itself. The Indian version of the MPV model gets some design changes. Like the Toyota signature trapezoidal grille, which is present on the Innova. New design front bumper and diamond cut alloy wheels. The steering wheel features the Toyota logo and a completely black dashboard. Under the hood is a 1.5 liter four cylinder petrol engine. The car will be available with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. The engine will produce 103 bhp of power and 138 Nm of torque.
