India’s leading electric two-wheeler maker Okaya EV has announced the launch of a new premium sub-brand. Which is named Ferrato (Ferrato). Okaya has decided to sell premium electric models under this new brand. The launch of three electric motorcycles and an e-scooter has also been announced. They are coming in the market by FY 2024-25.

Ferrato will build its own dealership network independently in the country. So presumably, the new company’s service will be better compared to Okaya EV. The company is moving towards opening more than 100 showrooms of Ferrato in this country.
Commenting on the launch of the new sub-brand, Dr. Anshul Gupta, Managing Director, Okaya EV, said, “Ferrato was established to provide consumers with a premium electric two-wheeler experience. Which is a significant step for Okaya EV. We are moving towards sustainable transport systems. We plan to establish more than one hundred Ferrato partners.”
Incidentally, Okaya EV currently sells seven different electric scooters. The company’s portfolio includes – Freedom, Faast F2F, Faast F3, Motofaast, Faast F2B, ClassicIQ+, Faast F2T and Faast F4. Their latest model is the Motofaast. Price Rs 1,36,999 (ex-showroom). The scooter is claimed to have a maximum range of 110-130 km from the 3.53 kWh LPF battery. It features three riding modes – Eco, City and Sports. The maximum speed is 70 km per hour.
