State Telecom Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) released a new recharge plan on this day. The plan can cost 5 rupees and keep the mobile on half a year. This plan is quite cheaper than the price of recharge of private telecom operators. However, this plan is only available for GP-2 customers of telecom. But, who is this GP-2 customer?
Who are the GP-2 customers?
GP-2 is the customers who have not recharged more than 3 days. Until 7 days have passed after seven days, these users will be GP-2 customers. Let's find out the benefits of the recharge plan of 5 rupees.
BSNL's new recharge plan
BSNL has a validation of the prepaid plan of 5 rupees for 3 days. You will get 1GB of data every day, unlimited voice calling and 1 SMS/day every day. After the use of FUP (Usage Policy) data, the speed will drop to 5 KBPS. Total data will be available for 1 GB.
Other private telecom operators have no such recharge plan. GP-customers of private telecom companies do not get such benefits. With BSNL, the advantage of becoming a GP customer is that you will get a more profitable offer from the company. In addition to this, BSNL has multiple 6 months recharge plans.
On the other hand, BSNL is trying to set up 1 lakh 3G site to launch 3G services across the country soon. The company has already set up 4,000 sites. BSNL has also planned to launch 3G services on these 1 lakh sites in addition to 3G.
