Ultraviolette has launched an electric motorcycle along with their first electric scooter and responded to India. The initial price of this Anduro style bike, called Shockwave, was kept at Tk 1.5 lakh (x-showroom). It was reported that it would be applicable to the first 5 buyers. However, the brand has now raised the initial price to up to 5 booking. After that, the cost of buying will be Tk 1.5 lakh (x-showroom). Ultraviolet has taken this step to get a huge response. Shockwave is reported to have received 5 bookings within 24 hours.
Ultraviolette ShockWave: Design
Ultraviolet Shockwave is the brand's first endoro style electric motorcycle. It is designed to do the dual sport bike. That is, it is also suitable for light-off-road. At the front, there is a vertically stacked LED headlamp. It has a high handlebar design like a rally bike. The tale section is very slim. It is available in two available color options – Cosmic Black and Frost White.
Specification and Features
The electric bike weighing 120 kg is claimed that the full charge will supply a 5 km range. Its electric motor produces 1.5 horsepower and supply 1 NM torque on the wheels. Ultraviolet shockwave is capable of reaching a speed of 5 to 5 km/h in only 2.5 seconds. And the maximum speed is 120 km/h.
The bike has four traction control modes, switchable dual channel ABS, six levels of regeneration, 5 inch TFT full-black display. For braking, there are 25mm disk with dual piston caliper on the front and 225mm disc brakes with a single piston caliper on the back. These brakes are planted in a 5 -inch front wheel and a 5 -inch rear wheel.
