Don't use the internet? Airtel brings only calling and SMS plans

Country's second largest telecom company Airtel has launched two new pocket-friendly plans to delight its customers. These plans offer only voice calling and SMS benefits. In case you don't need data or have a feature phone where you can't run internet, then these plans will suit you. These two plans of Airtel are priced at Rs 499 and Rs 1,959.

Meanwhile, if you recharge the Rs 499 plan, it will cost Rs 178 to keep the SIM active for one month (30 days). It comes with unlimited calls and some SMS benefits. Let's know about both the plans in detail.

Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 499

Airtel's new Rs 499 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls and 900 SMS with a validity of 84 days. Airtel Rewards Apollo 24/7 circle and free Hello Tunes subscription for 3 months will also be available.

Earlier, there was a plan in this segment, priced at Rs. 509. Here customers get 6 GB data, free calls and 100 SMS per day.

Airtel Rs 1,959 plan

For customers who want longer validity, Airtel's new calling and SMS plan is priced at Rs 1,959. The validity of this plan is 365 days. By recharging this plan you can make unlimited calls to any network and send 3600 SMS throughout the year. Apollo 24/7 Circle membership and Airtel Rewards also includes free Hello Tunes for 3 months.

Earlier, there was another plan in this segment, priced at Rs 1,999 and this plan offered 24GB data, free calls and 100 SMS per day. Now, the price of the plan has been reduced by Rs 40 and now only unlimited voice calls and SMS are available in the new plan.
