Citroen India is gearing up for business expansion in India. The French company appointed former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) as its brand ambassador last month. Citroen is planning to launch the Dhoni Edition C3 and C3 Aircross in honor of Captain Cool.
Both the special edition cars feature exclusive decals and accessories inspired by Captain Cool. The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition have been designed to target Dhoni's numerous fans. Citroen India says the Dhoni Special Edition Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross will showcase the brand's signature style and 'cricket star' style.
The company is going to come up with such unique offers to attract the customers. The move is believed to be to boost car sales by leveraging Dhoni's popularity at the time of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. Shishir Mishra, brand director of the company said, We are confident that our message will reach the entire country through our brand ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition: Engine Specifications
The Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition will come with the standard model engine. It is available in 1.2 liter turbo petrol and 1.2 liter regular petrol engine options. Both models get a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electrically adjustable ORVM, manual air condition, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, TPMS and a rear view camera. Both the upcoming cars will cost more than the standard models. However, the company did not disclose the launch date.
