Contra returns pre-registration has been started. Contra is a well-known name in the TV video games industry, It is an arcade game developed by Konami which was announced back in 1987. Almost 34 years of its launch, the game is ready to make its debut on Android & IOS devices with enhanced graphics and more adventurous levels.
Konami has incorporated with Tencent to develop its popular game Contra for mobile devices. Firstly, Konami partnered with the Chinese giant Tencent to evolve Contra Returns back in 2016. The game was created by Tencent’s TiMi Studios and was revealed in China back in 2017 and now the Japanese company seems to launch the title to the North American region in the coming days.
In Contra Returns, players can enjoy the classic side-scrolling gameplay, two-person teams, alien bosses, and signature settings and soundtrack from the original series. All with updated HD resolution, 3D character models, and vivid acoustic and visual effects to deliver a sensory experience.
TiMi Studios asked its fans to release Contra Returns in the Western region back in July last year and after receiving positive feedback from users, the company has confirmed to release the game in the US.
As per the promotional video, Contra Returns seems similar to its Chinese counterpart and may bring the classic, arcade-like gameplay to your mobile device. The game packs with the powerful Contra background score and the iconic Contra heroes including Bill Rizer and Lance Bean.
