The state -owned telecom company BSNL has recently completed the installation of 3,000 3G sites across the country. The goal of the organization is to set up 1 lakh 3G site in the first half of 2021. India Sanchar Nigam Limited is moving fast in this plan. BSNL has taken the help of domestic technology due to expansion of 3G services. However, the company has not been well in recent months.
According to Tri's data, BSNL lost 1 lakh 22 thousand customers in December 2021. However, the deficit is less than November. Because the company lost 1 lakh 12 thousand customers in November. Through social media, many claim that the price of recharge is low, but network services are very weak. BSNL users suffer from multiple problems such as call drops, weak networks and internet speeds.
To solve this problem, the company is seeking to complete the plan to set up a 4G site quickly. The total number of BSNL subscribers at the moment is 10 million. BSNL has claimed that necessary steps are being taken with the help of the government to improve the service. There is a need for significant improvement in infrastructure for 3G services.
BSNL has installed 5 new backup batteries to ensure the services are active during the power outage. The company has opened more than 1.5 power plants to keep that network active. Despite this step, BSNL is facing various challenges in retaining BSNL customers due to recent prices. As a result, the company lost about 5 customers in November and December.
