The BMW S 1000 XR was launched today in the Indian premium motorcycle market. The German luxury bike has been priced at Tk 22,50,000 (ex-showroom). It is clear from the price that BMW has maintained their tradition in the new model as well. This bike will be available in three color options Black Storm Metallic, Gravity Blue Metallic and Light White Solid Paint.

Note that the company has decided to import the BMW S 1000 XR motorcycle from abroad and sell it in India. That's why the price is beyond the reach of common buyers. Bookings for the bike have already started from the company's official website and all their authorized dealerships in India.
Commenting on the launch, BMW Group India President Vikram Pawa said, “The new BMW S 1000 XR will offer the high-performance of a sports bike as well as the comfort of a tourer for long-distance journeys. Even if the journey is long, the bike offers a sporty and superior riding feel. So once the riding starts, it's hard to finish.”
The BMW S 1000 XR's 4-cylinder engine produces a maximum power of 170 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 9,250 rpm. This bike can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.25 seconds. The maximum speed of the bike is 253 km per hour. It features components suitable for touring. The bike can be purchased with different packages for my performance and comfort.
