BMW CE 04: Eye-catching responsibility! The world's most hi-tech e-scooter is coming to India

The electric scooter market in India is gaining momentum. Therefore, apart from affordable models, various two-wheelers targeting the premium segment are coming in the market. Now BMW Motorrad (BMW Motorrad) has announced the launch date of their first electric scooter in the country. This futuristic styled e-scooter is irresistible.

Speaking of performance, the BMW CE 04 model has a 15 kW, permanent magnet, liquid cooled, synchronous electric motor. From which a maximum power of 41 bhp and 61 Nm of torque will be generated. It is claimed to be able to travel 130 km on a full charge of the 8.9 kWh battery pack. A standard charger will take four hours to fully charge the battery. However, the battery will be fully charged in 1 hour 40 minutes with the quick charger.

BMW claims the CE 04 electric scooter will be able to accelerate from 0-50 kmph in 2.6 seconds. Top speed is 120 km per hour. The design resembles a science fiction movie. All in all a futuristic look. The BMW CE 04 has seats with a flat bench-like design. Its height from the ground is 780 mm. That is, even if the height is low, there will be no problem driving it.

The BMW CE 04 will be based on a steel double loop frame. It comes with single bridge telescopic front fork and rear single sided swingarm suspension. 265mm disc brakes on both wheels with 15-inch wheels. Available with ABS.

A notable feature of the BMW CE 04 is a 10.25-inch TFT display supporting connectivity and navigation. Again a storage compartment is provided for the smartphone. There is a barrier for water even though air can get in there. There is a USB Type-C charger for charging the phone. Eco, Rain and Road – these three riding modes will be available. Dynamic Traction Control and ABS Pro will be offered as optional. The BMW CE 04 is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
