The Oppo Find N5 foldable smartphone is set to hit the market early next year. A few of its specifications have now been revealed ahead of the launch.
Last year, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find N3 foldable phone in the Chinese market. However, the brand has not released any successor this year. A recent report claims that the Chinese company could unveil the Oppo Find N5 in the first quarter of next year. Now a well-known tipster has shared some important information about Oppo's next generation foldable phone. Let's take a look at what is known about the upcoming Oppo Find N5.

Oppo Find N5 Phone Specifications (Probable)
The foldable phones launched this year, such as the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, Honor Magic V3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 are all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Oppo Find N5 will run on the SM8750 chipset, which is actually the model number of the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. It is set to debut in October. Hence, it is believed that the Oppo Find N5 could be the world's first foldable phone, which will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Recent reports suggest that the foldable display and cover screen inside the Oppo Find N5 handset will support 2K resolution. The rear panel of the device will have a triple camera setup comprising of a 50-megapixel Sony camera. This primary camera will be paired with a periscope telephoto lens and possibly an ultra-wide sensor. Like its predecessor, the Oppo Find N5 model will feature a large circular camera island.

Notably, the Oppo Find N5 will be exceptionally slim and lightweight. Its thickness is going to be around 9.x mm. It will also include a three-stage alert slider button. The device is expected to have structural reinforcement and come with a water resistant build.
However, the tipster did not provide any information about the battery of the Oppo Find N5 foldable phone. However, given that its predecessor had a 4,800 mAh battery and there is a growing trend of new phones offering high-density silicon batteries, the Oppo Find N5 is likely to have a larger battery.
