Airtel customers till now recharged various plans to get a subscription to Wynk Music, where they could listen to ad-free music for free. However, Airtel has decided to stop Wynk Music service. India's second largest telecom operator has decided to discontinue the service, which was launched nearly 10 years ago. And Airtel took this decision after joining hands with Apple.

Note that Airtel recently joined hands with Apple. As a result, it seems that customers will get Apple Music subscription from now on. That is, customers who had taken a premium subscription to Wynk Music, will now be offered a subscription to Apple Music to listen to their music.

Airtel customers have no reason to worry even though Wynk Music is closed.

Airtel customers will start getting Apple Music subscription instead of Wink Music Premium by the end of this year. The company has not yet given a specific date for the closure of Wink Music, but it seems likely to reveal it soon. Free Airtel Music subscription is still available with select Airtel plans.
