Bajaj took a big decision at the beginning of the new year. The Indian company discontinued three low-selling motorcycles. The list includes Platina 110 ABS, CT125X and Pulsar F250. Each model was of good quality but failed to attract buyers. All India media claims that the decision to stop the sale has been taken for that reason. First up is the Platina 110 ABS, the cheapest of the three models and the only bike below 125cc to offer safety features like single channel ABS. The Platina is one of Bajaj's oldest motorcycles. The version with anti-lock braking system was launched in 2022. At that time the price was kept at Rs 72,224.
On the other hand, the Bajaj CT125X was sold above the CT100 in the company's lineup. Rough and tough were known as motorbikes. Its 125 cc engine was capable of producing 10.7 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It was accompanied by a five-speed gearbox. It costs Rs 71,354 to Rs 74,554 (ex-showroom).
The semi-faired F250 was launched in 2021 alongside the Pulsar N250. It came as a replacement for the original Pulsar 220F. But the failure to catch the eye forced the company to launch the 220F in a new avatar. The F250 was updated last year and is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike's 249 cc engine had an output of 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm.
