Ather Energy, one of the pioneers in the world of electric two-wheelers in India, is about to bring their cheapest battery scooter. Named – Ather 450S. According to sources, it will be launched on August 3. Before that, the important information of the electric scooter has come forward. The Ather 450S is claimed to come with a new color LCD display. However, it won’t offer a touchscreen like the 450 and 450X. Its absence, however, is not expected to have much of an impact on the features and functions of the upcoming model. Ather 450S: New LCD display
As seen in the image, the upcoming Ather 450S has a new color LCD display. Presumably, it can be controlled by switchgear. Various important information related to riding will appear. It is divided into different segments. For example, speedometer and battery range information will appear in the middle. And the odometer reading on the left and the driver riding mode on the right.
The Ather 450S is expected to come with various ride modes for maximum performance and efficiency. In the image, the message ‘Motor On’ can be seen flashing across the top of the display. As a result, the user will know that the scooter is completely ready to run. While the display is new, it may offer in-built Bluetooth connectivity.
Ather 450S: Range, Speed, Price
The Ather 450S is expected to come with a 3 kWh battery pack. It can provide a range of 115 km on a full charge. The maximum speed will be 90 km per hour. The 450S is expected to be priced around Rs 1.30 lakh (without subsidy) due to the non-touch LCD display. It is being brought to the market to beat the 125 cc petrol scooters.
