Ola has seen a 300 percent increase in sales last month compared to May last year. Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of the company, said, “With unwavering dedication towards customer satisfaction, we have slightly increased the prices of our products since June. We are trying to retain Ola S1 as the best EV model in the country despite the government reducing subsidy.”
The new price of Ola S1 Pro from June is Rs 1,39,999. Whereas the S1 priced at Rs 1,29,999 has a 3kW battery. Again, the new price of S1 Air with the same capacity battery is Rs. 1,09,999. It should be noted that despite the reduction of subsidy by the government, Ola has not created any pressure on the customers. Ola has announced that it will sell the S1 Pro scooter at the same price as it appeared at the time of launch.
Currently, Ola has given great importance to the expansion of its experience centers in the country. Recently they inaugurated the 600th experience center. Ola is aiming to open 1,000 outlets by August 2023. The company is also focused on expanding its portfolio. Currently they are working on an electric bike and passenger car.
