Activa tops the list despite 29 per cent decline in sales, Honda dominates all other scooters

As usual this month also the statistics of the best selling scooters in India came out. Here is the list of top ten best selling scooters in June. As always, Honda Activa topped the list of best selling scooters in June as well. It sold a total of 1,30,830 units last month. But the surprising thing is that it has retained the first position despite the maximum decline of 29.01 percent in sales compared to June last year (1,84,305 units).

Top 10 Selling Scooters in the Country in June

The name of TVS Jupiter came second in the list. A total of 64,252 customers found it in their garages last month. Third place holder is Suzuki Access. Suzuki has sold a total of 39,503 units of this Suzuki scooter in June this year. 34,131 units were sold during the same period last year, showing a growth of 15.74 percent this year.

TVS Ntorq occupies the fourth position in the list. The model, which is very popular with the younger generation, reached 28,077 new buyers last month. The electric scooter Ola S1 series has got the fifth place. Its sales figure was 17,579 units. This year’s sales saw a jump of 198.05 percent compared to June 2022 sales of 5,898. TVS iQube grabbed the sixth position in the list. TVS’ only electric scooter sold 14,462 units last month. At the same time last year, sales were 4,667. This year’s sales have increased by 209.88 percent.

At number seven is the Yamaha RayZR. The scooter found a total of 13,441 new buyers last month. Suzuki Burgman again occupied the eighth position in the list with sales of 12,181 units. The electric scooters Ather 450X and Yamaha Fascino occupy the ninth and tenth positions respectively. They sold 10,202 units and 9,572 units respectively during the month of Zoom.
