35-40 km per liter! Maruti’s new model will beat all cars in the country in terms of mileage

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch several new cars in the coming year. Maruti has already brought the new SUV in India in collaboration with Toyota. Again, the company is going to launch Innova Hycross-based multipurpose vehicle Engage in India before Diwali. Meanwhile, it is heard that Maruti Suzuki will bring the new generation model of the popular hatchback Swift in February 2024. Also, sources claim, the updated version of Dzire will be launched soon after that by April-May.

Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire will be launched in 2024

The updated versions of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire will see new designs, improved interiors and bigger fuel efficient engines. However, the manufacturer has not disclosed the details of these two new models so far. It is believed that the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine based on Toyota’s strong hybrid technology will be used in both the 2024 Maruti Swift and Dzire.

35-40 km/l mileage will be available in the new version

If the speculations are correct, the mileage of the new Swift and Dzire will easily beat all other cars in India. According to the ARAI certificate, these two cars can travel around 35-40 km per liter of petrol. Even the new Strong Hybrid technology in it is based on the principle of CAFE ll (Corporate Average Fuel Economy). However, their relatively less expensive variant will use the same 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine as before. There will be CNG option. Transmission duties will be handled by the same five-speed manual and automatic gearbox as the current one.

Design and features will be improved

One of the major highlights of the new versions of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire is the advanced infotainment system. The touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+ technology will come with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, software update system (OTA) and Suzuki Voice Assist. The Swift facelift will feature a different front grille, slim headlamps with new LEDs, improved front bumper, air vents, redesigned wheels, black-painted pillars, upper spoiler and new body panels compared to the current model.

The price will increase from Tk 1 to Tk 1.50 lakh

The strong hybrid versions of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire are expected to be priced between Tk 1 to Tk 1.5 lakh more than the regular petrol variants. Maruti Swift is currently available for purchase between Tk 5.99 Lakh -9.03 Lakh. On the other hand, the Dzire’s current price range starts from Tk 6.51 lakh to Tk 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
