Sales of electric models are increasing steadily in promising car markets like India. Determined to capture the market, MG Motor India has started preparations for the launch of another new electric car in India. Which is called MG Cloud EV. The car will enter the country in mid-September. Note that this is their third and most expensive EV model in the country after MG ZS EV and MG Comet EV. As a result, it is understood that the company is bringing MG Cloud EV targeting affluent buyers.
MG Cloud EV will be launched in India in September
The MG Cloud EV is 4.3 meters long. It is a crossover multipurpose vehicle (MPV). Design features include LED lighting, flush door handles and a sleek roofline. The luxury cabin can be equipped with a 360-degree camera system, dual digital screens, climate control, connected car technology, level 2 ADAS and powered seats with sunroof.
Talking about the specifications, the MG Cloud EV model features an electric motor with a 50.6 kWh battery pack. It can travel 460 km on a full charge. The price can be kept between 25 to 28 lakh rupees. The MG Cloud EV's direct competitor in the Indian market is the BYD e6.
On the other hand, MG Motor has recently increased the prices of its electric vehicles in India. These are MG ZS EV and MG Comet EV. The price of the first has been increased by Rs. 25,000. The cost to buy now is Tk 18.98 lakh to Tk 25.44 lakh (ex-showroom). MG Comet EV has become expensive by Rs 13,000. Price Rs.6.99 lakh to Rs.9.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
