In mid-March, electric vehicle startup Quantum Energy announced a 10 percent price cut on a pair of its electric scooters. The company has come up with attractive offers on its two models – Plasma X and XR. Offer valid till March 31, 2024. Quantum Plasma X and XR now cost Rs 1.09 lakh and Rs 89,000 respectively (ex-showroom) to buy with the discount. Whereas before the discount was announced, the price was Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). That is, it is understood that if you buy two models this month, there will be some pressure on the pocket. Now let’s know about the various features of these two battery powered scooters.
Quantum Plasma X and XR – Battery and Range
The Plasma X and XR electric scooters feature a 1,500 watt motor and a 60 volt 50 amp hour lithium ion battery. The Plasma X model is capable of accelerating from 0-40 km/h in 7.5 seconds. It has a top speed of 65 km per hour and a range of 110 km.
The Plasma XR, on the other hand, has a 1,500 watt motor as its power source. Which offers a speed of 60 km per hour. It is capable of traveling 100 km on a full charge. Eco and Sports – these two drive modes are available. Also has keyless start and reverse gear.
Front and rear LED light setup, BMS, on-board USB charging, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity etc. are prominent features of these two e-scooters.
