ZTE Blade A31 5G is in the works may launch soon with Snapdragon 768G

ZTE is developing a new mid-range 5G handset named ” Blade A31 5G “. A well known Chinese tipster named Digital Chat Station has shared the documents of a ZTE smartphone with model number A2122H which is touted to come as ZTE Blade A31 5G.

The documents seems to be a certification documents that shares the phone front sketch and few details. The phone will sport a punch-hole display with hole at the top center and also include an under display fingerprint sensor hinting that the phone will come with either AMOLED or OLED display.

The document also clears that the company is planning to power the device with the latest Snapdragon 780G 5G chipset but due to the shortage of the chipset, the company has to change the processor. Now the smartphone will come powered with Snapdragon 768G chipset that already seen on iQOO Z3, Redmi K30 5G racing edition and more.

If the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 780 5G then it might be a better choice as it is based on the latest 5nm fabrication, and also comes with Cortex X1 performance cores seen on the Snapdragon 888 chipset as well. However, the company hasn’t confirmed even the existence of the device yet but it is expected to launch soon.
