The Chinese Tech company ready to launch the world’s first ZTE A20 5G smartphone soon. The Company posted a teaser on its official Weibo account in which they said “Innovation never ends, dreams go further! I have a showdown. The world’s first smartphone with an under-screen camera is ZTE! #Disappearing camera”.
Another Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo and Vivo showcased their smartphones with Under screen display in the past. In June 2019, Oppo unveiled the first smartphone with under-screen camera technology.
According to the report, Vivo has revealed its concept phone “Vivo Apex 2020” with under-screen camera technology in February. It has a 16-megapixel front camera behind the screen, it is equipped with a 4-in-1 super-pixel photosensitive chip to capture good quality photos. The Chip increases the light transmittance of the screen right above the front camera up to six times more than any other part of the screen. Besides, Vivo also used a series of algorithm optimizations to increase photography quality to reduced optical interference, diffraction, and stray flashes.
Both of the Chinese companies never released a phone using this camera technology that people could actually buy. Hopefully, The same thing will not happen with ZTE A20 5G.
