Haryana's EV two-wheeler startup Zelio E Bikes has further expanded its product portfolio by announcing the launch of the new Eeva electric scooter. The company's new e-scooter range comes in three models – Eeva, Eeva Eco and Eeva ZX+ and is available in multiple battery options. You will be surprised to hear that the price starts from Rs. 52,000 only.
A 60/72V BLDC motor is used in the base model i.e. Eeva variant. It is capable of carrying a weight of 180 kg. Both wheels have drum brakes and hydraulic shock absorbers for suspension. Other features include anti-theft alarm, reverse gear, parking switch, auto repair switch, USB charger, and digital display.
The Eeva electric scooter can be purchased in five different battery pack options. A range of 55-100 km will be available on a full charge depending on the variant. The Eeva Eco model is based on the base version. Disc brakes are available at the front. Reverse gear, parking switch and USB charging feature will be available. There are three types of battery packs and a range of 50-100 km accordingly.
On the other hand, the top model Eeva ZX+ gets all the features of the other two trims. It is also offering five battery options. The base version has been priced from Rs 56,051 to Rs 79,051. The mid-range variant will cost between Rs 52,000 and Rs 68,000. And the top model is priced from Rs 70,000 to Rs 90,500 (ex-showroom). The battery has lead acid and lithium ion options.
