Jio Star has recently submitted its TV channel prices to the regulator. As reported by Times of India, the company has come up with a total of 83 packages for 134 channels. These include entertainment, news, sports and infotainment etc. The Star Value Pack (SVP) Hindi and SVP Hindi Basic Pack for SD channels have been priced at Rs 110, compared to Rs 90 for the same channel earlier, reports said.
Jio Star has rights to major cricket events
Jio will offer Star viewers popular channels like Star Plus, Colors, Star Gold and Star Sports. Jio Star also has rights to broadcast Indian Premier League (IPL) and International Cricket Council (ICC) matches, and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) matches.
Sony Pictures, Zee Entertainment channel prices hiked by 10%
A few months ago, Sony Pictures Networks India and Zee Entertainment Enterprises decided to increase the prices of their channels by 10 percent. Jio has brought new year plans for mobile users
