The Indian arm of Yamaha Motor has officially confirmed that it will introduce a motorcycle with a bigger engine in the country. The Japanese bike maker recently inaugurated its 200th Blue Square showroom in the country. It can be said that Yamaha is preparing to sell bikes with big engines. Only higher displacement models will be sold from this showroom of the company. Some of which were showcased earlier this year.
Yamaha will launch multiple two-wheelers with big engines in the country
Blue Square Showroom is Yamaha’s premium dealership network. Which started from 2019. The company claims that buyers will get the best experience of buying a premium motorcycle from here. By 2023, Yamaha has announced plans to reach 300 Blue Square outlets in the country.
Yamaha is expected to bring their international market models to India soon. Present in this list – MT-03, MT-07 and MT-09. Also included in full-faired models – R3, R7, R1 and R1M. Yamaha recently showed these bikes to their dealers in a secret meeting. However, there is no word about their launch period. It is expected that premium motorcycles will enter the market one by one during the Puja season this year. Their bookings may start in the next few weeks.
Currently Yamaha sells the Aerox 155 maxi style scooter only from their Blue Square dealership. The company has already launched the 2023 version of various bikes and scooters in India. The Japanese company launched ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign in 2018 to expand its business in the country. Under which this time they are targeting premium scooters and motorcycles.
