2024 Yamaha RayZR launch in Europe. The power and torque output of the European model is slightly lower than the Indian version. Yamaha has also made several cuts in features. Yamaha mainly manufactures and exports the scooter to various Asian countries including India.
The 2024 Yamaha RayZR was launched at the end of May. The company has announced the launch of the scooter in the European market. The price will be 2,549 euros, which in Indian currency is about 2.30 lakh rupees. That is, the price is much higher there. In comparison, the top-spec version of the scooter costs Rs 92,930 (ex-showroom) in India.
2024 Yamaha RayZR launch in Europe
The company has charged so much more for the scooter as import cost in Europe. Yamaha RayZR is mainly manufactured in various Asian countries including India and exported to Europe. The same model that the Razr sells in India will also be sold in Europe. As a result, the youthful vitality of the design is also witnessed in it.
Like India, the European version of the Yamaha RayZR is powered by a 125 cc single cylinder engine. But its output is slightly lower than the Indian version. While the Indian model is capable of producing 8.2 bhp and 10.3 Nm of torque, the European version will get 8.1 bhp of power and 9.7 Nm of torque.
Notable features on the Yamaha RayZR in Europe include LED illumination, start/stop system, and LCD console. While smartphone connectivity is available on the scooter in India, it is missing from the European model. Again, while India gets a disc brake option on both sides, in Europe the Yamaha RayZR only gets drum brakes at the rear. Also, like other scooters it has telescopic front fork and rear monoshock for suspension.
