Xiaomi Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C launched in Malaysia, both of the phones powered by Mediatek Helio SoC. Both the smartphones boast a 6.53-inch HD+ display. They have 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. The starting price of Redmi 9A is RM 359 (around Rs 6,300), while the base variant of Redmi 9C comes with a price tag of RM 429 (around Rs 7500).

The Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch-HD+ Display with a waterdrop notch style. It is powered by Mediatek Helio G25 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone also comes with a 13-megapixel single camera at back and 5-megapixel selfie camera in front. In terms of battery backup, Xiaomi provides a massive 5000 mah battery and 10W Charging on the phone. The company launched only one variant of the phone which offers 2GB RAM and 32 GB Storage.
Apart from Redmi 9A, Xiaomi also launches Redmi 9C as well in Malaysia. Likewise Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C features a 6.53-inch-HD+ Display with a waterdrop notch style. It is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of camera, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-MP (primary camera) with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-MP (macro sensor) with f/2.4 lens, and a 2-MP (depth sensor) with f/2.4 lens. Redmi 9C also equipped with a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Redmi 9A is priced at RM 359 (roughly Rs. 6,300) for the 2GB/32GB storage variant. The phone will be available to purchase via e-retailer, Lazada starting from July 7 for an introductory price of RM 319 (roughly Rs. 5,600). It comes in Peacock Green, Midnight Grey, and Twilight Blue color options.
The Redmi 9C comes with a price tag of RM 429 (roughly Rs. 7,500) for the 2GB/32GB storage model. This Smartphone will up for sale from the end of July as Xiaomi revealed. The phone comes in Sunrise Orange, Midnight Grey, and Twilight Blue color options. The Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C, both have an additional 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB storage variant respectively for the Indonesian market, but for now, their pricing and availability details are not clear.
