Xiaomi Redmi 10a was announced in India as the new affordable smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. Although, the phone already went official in China last month. The device has similar specifications to the Redmi 9A which was unveiled in 2020. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch display, MediaTek entry-level chipset, solo rear camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, big battery, and more.

Xiaomi Redmi 10a flaunts a 6.53 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 400nits peak brightness, and 1500:1 contrast ratio. In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a solo 13-megapixel rear camera under a square-shaped camera module coupled with an LED flash. The phone sports a 5-megapixel selfie sensor under the waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164.9 x 77 x 9mm and weighs 194 grams.
For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging. It comes running on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. Sensors onboard, the smartphone sports a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The phone comes in three colour options namely Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Grey. The device will go for sale on April 26 at 12PM via Amazon.in, mi.com, mi home, and selected offline stores.
