Royal Enfield is preparing for the final stage to put a smile on the faces of the riders who have adventure in their veins. Their new motorcycle may be launched next month. Many of you may have heard the name, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. It will be powered by the 450cc engine used in the Himalayan 450. You will be surprised to know that the bike is actually the roadster version of the Himalayan 450.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 may be launched in July
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be powered by a 452 cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. But its tuning may be different compared to Himalayan 450. That 451.65 cc engine produces a maximum of 40 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It will be accompanied by a six-speed gearbox.
Talking about the design, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will get round head lamps. For suspension, there are USD front forks and rear preload adjustable monoshock unit. The bike can come with assist clutch as standard slipper and circular TFT instrument console. Bluetooth connectivity, rear wheel switchable ABS, ride mode, ride by wire throttle, etc. will be available in the instrument cluster.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 may be offered with 17-inch black alloy wheels. Again its wheelbase and weight will be less than Himalayan 450. So Guerrilla 450 is expected to be cheaper than Himalayan 450. In the Indian market, the bike competes with Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
