As if WhatsApp is never tired of bringing new features frequently, the popular instant messaging platform has been adding new options one after the other in the past few weeks. The company has even updated the Community feature, which was launched a few weeks ago, whereby users will see a separate settings menu in the Community section. But that’s not all, WhatsApp is now reportedly working on a community group suggestion option to attract users to the community feature and to spruce up the platform.
More interesting is WhatsApp Community
As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is considering bringing group suggestions to its community feature. They have already started working on it – currently Android beta users will see this new option in version 2.23.14.14 of the WhatsApp app.
How will this group suggestion feature work?
In this case, with the help of this group suggestion option, WhatsApp users can suggest their groups to the community admin. And once the admin adds to a group, community it will be easily known or reachable to all members of the community and other communities.
Not only this, this group suggestion option will give community admins the ability to accept or reject requests from other community members. Additionally, it will offer an additional tool, allowing community admins to collaborate with members.
WhatsApp recently banned 6.5 million accounts in India
Apart from introducing new features, WhatsApp is also taking steps to keep its platform transparent and secure. For example, they have recently banned more than 6.5 million problematic accounts in India following new IT norms.
