The ID.4 is Volkswagen’s first battery electric vehicle in India. The brand’s most popular car in the global market is offered in multiple trims. It sits below the ID.3 hatchback in the company’s portfolio. The company showcased the ID.4 GTX at the brand’s annual conference in India 2023.

Design features on the sharp-looking Volkswagen ID.4 include edgy-looking headlamps, front air intakes and taillamps flanked by lightbars. Inside the cabin is a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

In the international market, the ID.4 is available with a choice of single and dual motors. The base model produces 168 bhp of power. While the ID.4 Pro and GTX models get a maximum of 282 bhp and 334 bhp respectively. The larger model with a 77 kWh battery offers a range of 550 km on a full charge. Where 52 KWh travels 342 km. However, there is no word yet on which variant the ID.4 will be offered in the Indian market.
