Vivo Y72t with 6000mah battery, MediaTek Dimensity 700 launched: Price, Specifications

Vivo Y72t was announced in China as the new budget 5G device. The new handset is touted to be the rebranded version of the Vivo Y55s 5G which was unveiled back in December last year. The phone comes with a MediaTek entry-level 5G chipset, 50MP dual rear camera, large battery, waterdrop notch display, fast charging, gradient design, and more.

Vivo Y72t flaunts a 6.58 inches LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate, Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 92 percent screen to body ratio, 401 PPI pixel density, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Coming to optics, the phone features a dual-camera at back including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

Under the hood, the device gets fuel from the MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core SoC coupled with Mali G57 MP2 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie sensor under the dewdrop notch. It is packed with a 6000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging.

The device is running on Android 11 with Origin OS 1.0 skin on top. For connectivity, the phone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of Dimensions, the Vivo y72t measures 163.87 x 75.33 x 9.17mm and weighs nearly 200 grams. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y72t comes in two configurations:

• 8GB + 128GB priced at 1399 yuan ( Rs. 16,300 approx )
• 8GB +256GB priced at 1599 yuan ( Rs. 18,600 approx )

The phone comes in three color options namely Deep Sea Black, Blue Sea, and Interstellar Powder. The handset will go for sale on May 23 in China.
