Vivo V2056A spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 888 5G processor


Vivo V2056A is another smartphone from the BBK electronics subsidiary company Vivo. The smartphone is spotted with the recently launched Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. Realme Race is also tipped to come with the same chipset and many more OEMs are planning to launch smartphones with the same processor as soon as possible.

Vivo V2056A spotted with Lahaina motherboard integrated with Qualcomm Armv8 octa-core chipset. This motherboard is first linked with Snapdragon 875 but Qualcomm unveiled Snapdragon 888 so it might be of the SD 888 chipset. A reliable tipster named Abhishek Yadav shared the Geekbench listing of the smartphone on Twitter.



Snapdragon 888 chipset is integrated with X60 5G modem so the smartphone sports 5G connectivity. The smartphone is also accompanied by 12GB RAM and may couple with 128GB or 256GB of storage.


As per the Geekbench listing, The V2056A is running on Android 11 and may have Origin OS skin on top. The smartphone is able to grab 1135 points in single-core and 3681 points in multi-cores on Geekbench 5.


However, the exact name for Vivo V2056A is not known for now. The smartphone is expected to launch in January or February 2021.
