The scooter has already been featured twice. Hero is entering the premium scooter segment with the Xoom 125R. Where TVS Ntorq 125 has been showing its dominance for a long time. The arrival of Hero’s new model is to share its popularity.
Hero Xoom 125R – Design
A glance at the front of the Hero Xoom 125R makes it clear that it exudes sporty character from all angles. Although the Anuj model takes several design elements from the (Xoom 100). However, there will be a difference with the Xoom 100 in terms of dimensions. At the front, there are LED head lamps with DRLs and turn indicators.
There is a large floor-board to increase the space near the feet. There are cuts and creases to bring the surprise of the side profile design. There is also an option to choose from different color options. Which will make it more attractive to buyers. Motosota exhaust is accompanied by a slick rear section.
Hero Xoom 125R – Powertrain
It is reported that the Hero Xoom 125R is powered by a 124.6 cc single cylinder air cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 9.4 bhp and a torque of 10.16 Nm. Final output may vary though. CVT gearbox is connected to the powertrain.

Hero has kept the key details of the Xoom 125R under wraps. It is said to come on a steel frame. Along with conventional telescopic front fork and rear monoshock suspension. 14 inch wheels are provided on both sides. Front disc and rear drum brakes are present. Carb weight will be around 120kg.

The Hero Xoom 125R is in the market to compete with – TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125 and Suzuki Avenis. It is estimated that the price of the scooter could start from Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom). If the report claims are true then it will be launched in the Indian market during the festive season of 2024 or later.
