The sales graph of electric two-wheelers in this country is steadily increasing. This is not the case with TVS’s only electric scooter, the iQube. The scooter touched the milestone of selling more than 1.5 million models in 43 months or a little over 3.5 years after its launch. The company claims that it has sold a total of 1,54,263 units till July 22, 2023. However, TVS is yet to disclose the total number of units it sold during the month of July. Kendra’s vehicle portal mentions that 7,111 TVS iQubes have been sold till July 22.

For information, the TVS iQube is available in three variants – Standard, S and ST. Their prices are Rs 1.23 lakh and Rs 1.38 lakh respectively. Pricing for the ST model is yet to be revealed. However, this price is applicable only for those who have booked from May 21, 2023 onwards. The prices of the two models have been hiked by Rs 17,000 and Rs 22,000 respectively from June 1 due to reduction in subsidy under FEM-II scheme. Before that date they were available for Rs 98,564 and Rs 1,08,690 respectively.

The Standard and S variants of the iQube have a 3.04 kWh battery. 100 km range on full charge. Meanwhile, the company claims that the ST model will provide a range of 145 km on a full charge. They use indigenous technology batteries with IP67 certification. which will resist water and dust.
TVS iQube features 12-inch wheels, all-LED lighting, 5-inch TFT cluster with music controls and theme customization. Whereas the entry-level model features a 5-inch unit, which supports turn-by-turn navigation. Again, the top-end model ST gets a 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster. It supports voice assistant and OTA updates. The scooter has competitors in the market – Ather 450X, Hero Vida V1, Ola S1 Pro and Bajaj Chetak.
