TVS Motor Company currently sells only one electric scooter in India, the iQube. The company announced that this model will be available in five variants. The new variants were launched at an event in Delhi yesterday. From that stage, TVS has announced that delivery of the iQube ST variant will begin soon in the capital. Currently, this scooter can be purchased in three battery packs, namely 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh. The models are priced from Rs 85,000 to Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
The TVS iQube will be available in five variants in India
The entry-level variant of the TVS iQube gets new 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh battery packs. Special features on the small battery pack model include a 5-inch color TFT screen, turn-by-turn navigation, crash and tow alert, two new colors, walnut brown and pearl white, a 950 watt charger, which will fully charge the battery in two hours. This variant will give a range of 75 km on a full charge.
A 3.4 kWh battery version of the new TVS iQube ST has also been launched. The price has been kept at Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom). It promises a range of 100 km on a full charge. It will get 7 inch color TFT screen, Alexa voice assist, tire pressure monitoring system, digital document storage, more than 100 connected features, 32 liter under seat storage etc. The maximum speed is 78 km per hour.
The TVS iQube ST variant also comes with a 5.1 kWh battery. This model has been priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The range of this version on a full charge is 150 km. The scooter is offered in four color options – Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte and Starlight Blue.
