TVS Motor Company today launched the new racing edition of its Apache RTR 160 motorcycle. The price of this new motorcycle in India is kept at 1,28,720 rupees. This is the most expensive variant of the bike. It comes above the previous top-end variant with dual disc brakes and Bluetooth connectivity.
What differentiates the new Racing Edition from other versions of the TVS Apache RTR 160 is the matte black color scheme and the Racing Edition logo. There are red and gray stickers on the fuel tank and tail section. The tank, side panels, and number plate holder are also given a synthetic carbon fiber finish. In a word, it looks interesting.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition adds a different dimension to the red colored alloy wheel looks. Special features of the bike include LCD console, Bluetooth connectivity, voice assistance, turn by turn navigation, three riding modes, glide through technology, and LED headlamps and taillamps.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition has only received cosmetic updates. Performance and hardware setup are unchanged. The bike has a 159.7 cc engine, which is capable of producing 15.82 HP and 13.85 Nm of torque. The number of gears is five. Telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the rear are present for suspension. Both wheels will get single disc brakes.
