Almost all electric two-wheeler companies in the country have announced price hikes for their various models following the subsidy cuts under the FEM-II scheme. Moving forward in that direction, Pune’s Tork Motors has increased the price of their electric motorcycle Kratos R. The e-bike can now be bought at Tk 1.87 lakh (ex-showroom price) with an increase of Tk 19,000.

According to the FEM-II project, a maximum subsidy of Rs 10,000 per kilowatt battery of electric two-wheelers will be given at present. It was Rs 15,000 earlier. Again, where earlier a maximum discount of 40 percent was given on the factory construction price, it has now been reduced to 15 percent. That is, where the Tork Kratos R used to get a subsidy of Rs 60,000, after the reduction, it has now become Rs 22,500.
