PUBG Mobile 1.0 has been announced with New Erangel Map and Graphics Quality Improvements. PUBG confirmed that the servers will not be taken offline for the new update. PUBG Mobile 1.0 update introduces major changes to the game such as the New Erangel map, a new Royale Pass Season which is coming soon, some changes to Cheer Park and Training Ground, as well as improvements in Livik Map too.
PUBG Mobile 1.0 Update Changes
The new update of PUBG Mobile introduces the most-awaited New Erangel map with upgraded visuals for the sky, land, water, and vegetation to make the game more realistic and detailed. Some new map elements include trenches, wooden barricades, abandoned tanks, and constructions to take cover when in battle.
The structures and buildings also have been modified as well with large resource point changes. Erangle map location such as Mylta Power, Quarry, and Prison, among others, have been renovated for more “unexpected developments in battle”.
Character models have been enhanced with better action animations, building and terrain transitions between zones have been improved for better blending, and lighting quality has been improved as well. Shell ejection animations while firing, new blast effect, and stronger firing feedback have been added to the game. Furthermore, Phones which have 90Hz refresh rate screens now able to run the game at higher frame rates.
In Livik map, PUBG improved textures of rocks, water, waterfalls, and more for smoother gameplay. A new semi-automatic shotgun named M1014 has been added to Livik and Arena mode. Gamers can load up to seven rounds and the ammo can be manually reloaded.
Payload 2.0 is also coming to the game soon. It will come with a new armed helicopter, Advanced Communication Towers to recall dead teammates, and much more. Payload 2.0 will also have a new armed UAZ, Dacia, Buggy, and Pickup, as well as new heavy weaponry – AT4-A laser-guided missile and M202 four-barreled rocket launcher.
Moreover, PUBG Mobile’s upcoming new season is called Beyond A.C.E that is coming to PUBG Mobile on September 14. The size of PUBG Mobile 1.0 update is of 1.8GB for Android and 2.17GB on iOS devices. The game has been removed from both the Play store as well the App Store in India because of the ban imposed by the Indian government.
