Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg recently launched a new app called Threads to compete with Elon Musk’s Twitter. And after the launch this app has got very good response in India. In this case, it is known that more than 50 million people have downloaded this Threads app in about 24 hours. However, even though it is in the center of practice at the moment, the users have a little problem with one thing of the app. In fact, you can’t sign up for a Threads account using just an email or phone number, in which case you’ll need to use your Instagram account information to open a profile. And here is the mess! Although accounts can actually be opened on Threads through Instagram, if for some reason the new account wants to be deleted or removed, the company has not given its own option. Rather, to delete the profile of the Threads app, the user must also delete his Instagram account. Undoubtedly this matter is extremely uncomfortable!
Threads profile does not have to be deleted to delete Instagram
Soon after the launch of Threads, some Twitter users and some officials of the micro-blogging platform opened up about it. Meanwhile, many people are unhappy about this restriction regarding Instagram. Some have made fun of this on social media. But now Instagram head Adam Mosseri has said that Threads will soon allow users to delete their Instagram profiles without affecting them. And once this feature is enabled, it will be easy to hide or disable Threads profiles.
