Reliance Jio Removes These Plans: Reliance Jio has become a target of criticism and ridicule from the people of the country for the past few weeks, despite being at the peak of popularity for offering the best services at the cheapest prices. India's largest telecom operator recently increased its recharge charges in the name of 5G services. Not just this, Jio has virtually silently removed the Rs 149 and Rs 179 prepaid recharge plans from its portfolio. All in all, there is no doubt that it has become quite stressful for Jio users to keep their SIM active!
This facility was available in Jio's Rs 149 and Rs 179 plans
Jio's missing Rs 149 mobile prepaid recharge plan had a validity of 20 days. It offered 1 GB data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. On the other hand, Jio's Rs 179 prepaid plan offers 1 GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 24 days. But alas, now the company has no plans at this price.
Jio Minimum Recharge Plan
Right now Reliance Jio users have to spend Rs 189 for minimum recharge. In this plan you will get 2GB mobile data, unlimited calling and 300 SMS as well as complimentary Jio app subscription. Its validity is 28 days. Incidentally, the price of this plan known as 'Value' pack was Rs 155 before.
Last week, Jio increased the price of all 17 plans
Right after the Lok Sabha polls, Reliance Jio announced a huge hike in recharge charges. And just like that decision, since the beginning of this month, they have made 17 prepaid plans expensive, which is why there is a storm of criticism now. For those who haven't noticed yet, let us tell you that the prepaid plan price of Jio's Tk 209 plan is now Tk 249, which is valid for 28 days. Similarly, the price of the Rs 239 plan has been reduced to Rs 299, while the price of the Rs 299 plan has been reduced to Rs 349. Apart from this, after the tariff increase, the price of Tk 349, Tk 399 and Tk 479 plans are now Tk 399, Tk 449 and Tk 579 respectively.
