Battery has entered the SUV market recently. Recently more and more companies have started walking that path. This time, Hyundai has started preparing to bring another new SUV in its electric version. It is – Hyundai Creta EV. The car was recently spotted testing on the roads of Hyundai’s hometown of South Korea. Even before the updated version of the Creta SUV hit the market last January, this electric model has become one of the topics of interest among interested buyers.
Hyundai Creta EV is coming soon
Wrapped in a striking camouflage, the visionary Hyundai Creta EV has given a glimpse of its design. As seen in the spy shot, it features wide LED DRLs along the width similar to the Crater ICE model sold in the country. Again there are LED projector head lamps. However, being an electric model, it has a closed panel instead of the traditional radiator grill.
The electric model of the Creta EV is notable for its 17-inch aero design alloy wheels, which are usually seen in any EV model. The presence of the charging port can be seen on the front fender. There are also smooth bumpers with tweaked radiator grille.
Other features include a large touchscreen infotainment system, all-digital instrument cluster with new graphics, revamped center console, a 360-degree surround camera and advanced ADAS features. Hyundai has not revealed the specifications of the car. Although speculated, it may offer a 55 to 60 kWh battery pack, which will provide a range of 450 km on a full charge.
