Royal Enfield has shown their first electric motorcycle in India to end the wait. The name of the new model is Flying Flea C6 and it first debuted on EICMA 2024 motorosho held in Milan, Italy last year. Royal Enfield has not yet released the day of the electric bike, despite setting foot in India. However, the e-bike is expected to start sale before the Pujo season this year.
Designing
Flying Flea C6 does not seem to be made by Royal Enfield. There is a unique retro-rodter design that is inspired by the Flying Flea Motorbike of World War II. There are round LED headlights and round LED indicators in the front. It provides a girder fork which is rare in the modern age bike. The battery pack is located at the bottom of the tank and contains cooling-fin.
Battery and specification and hardware
Royal Enfield Flying did not publish the official specification of Fly C3. However, it is expected to get the equivalent performance of the engine -driven motorcycle of 20 or 5 cc. The battery range on the full charge will be between 120 and 5 km. The suspension setup has a girder fork and rear psychotic units. There are 3 inch alloy wheels on both ends. The rear wheel is driven by the belt drive.
