Among the Japanese car companies, Toyota is well known for manufacturing expensive four-wheelers. This time, the Indian branch of the company announced the launch of the new version of Vellfire in the country. When you hear the price, it is normal to be shocked. The car is priced at Tk 1.19 crore (ex-showroom) in the country. It is clear by now that this car is not for us. The first choice of celebrities for a luxurious cabin, this car is available in two variants – Hi Grade and VIP Grade. This luxury multipurpose vehicle or MPV model gets new exterior colors and three interior themes, as updates.
Changes to the exterior styling of the new Vellfire
As a new update, the Vellfire gets a larger grille at the front with chrome and sleeker LED headlamps. It retains the sliding rear power door and flat roofline unchanged from the previous model. New features include beautiful alloy wheels and a large LED taillamp cluster at the rear. The car is available in Precious Metal, Premium Pearl White and Jet Black colours. Based on the TNGA-K platform, the Vellfire has a length and wheelbase of 4,995 mm and 3,000 mm respectively.

The cabin of the car is available in multiple color themes – Sunset Brown, Black and Neutral Beige. The dashboard includes a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 15-speaker JBL sound system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car’s second row features massage seats, powered pull-down side sun blinds, and a 14-inch entertainment screen.
2023 Vellfire gets new safety features
The new version of Vellfire offers several security features. For example – six airbags, a 360 degree camera, hill assist control. It also has Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). These include lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitor and a high beam assist.

Powering the wheels of the Toyota Vellfire is a 2.5 liter strong hybrid engine. From which maximum power of 190 bhp and torque of 240 Nm will be generated. The car is claimed to run 19.28 kilometers on 1 liter of fuel. Its Hi Grade and VIP Grade variants are priced at Rs 1,19,90,000 and Rs 1,29,90,000 (ex-showroom) respectively.
